Annual Summer Enrichment Program for Refugees
2024 Program: Running for the second summer in a row, the enrichment program is once again held in collaboration with InterFaith Rise, the Muslim Center of Greater Princeton, and the First Presbyterian Church of Cranbury. Under the direction of Jannat Zaanoun, a rising HS senior, this program has since expanded to include refugees that are not of sole Afghan origin, expanding to serve about 20 refugee students. It runs twice a week from July 8 - August 14, with Mondays dedicated to Afghan adult females (see here) and Wednesdays dedicated to children grades K-12 gaining the necessary remediation skills for the upcoming school year.
