Founder:

Jannat Zaanoun is the founder of Literary Bridges, a nonprofit organization with the aim of helping all refugees across New Jersey obtain the futures they deserve by bridging the learning gap through literacy, one book at a time. She started this organization after seeing the learning gap firsthand in refugee students enrolled at local schools in her area - with the values of sharing knowledge and helping others instilled in her from such a young age, she knew she had to help out.

In her free time, you can find her reading a good book, hanging out with friends and family, baking dessert, and spending time in nature watching the sunset.
