Online English Zoom Lessons for Adults - Women 

Time + Date: 

During the school year: Every Monday on Zoom (link is emailed) from 8:30pm-9:30pm

During the summer: Every Monday on Zoom (link is emailed) from 8:30-9:30pm

Class Overview: Each adult is first screened using diagnostic testing to determine language level. Using supplemental ESL materials, adults work on... recognizing and using essential vocabulary, forming their own sentences in response to relevant question topics, working on grammar concepts, and conversing with one another. These classes aim to help the adults navigate their day to day activities autonomously and give them the freedom to control their own lives.

Class Resources (provided to students hardcopy or digitally): 

• Read All About It Book 1 by Lori Howard

• The Chicken Smells Good - Dialogues and Stories Edition 2 by William P. Pickett

Students Will Need:

• Notebook/Paper for Notes

• Writing Utensil
